Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church is celebrating its 100 year Anniversary at the Greek Food Festival this weekend. Greek foodies look forward to this annual Fall event. Delicious foods are prepared on site from recipes handed down over the years. You can order a Festival Feast plate or select from the a la carte menu. I love that you can also have food packaged to enjoy at home. That saves me from having to eat all my favorite menu items at one sitting! I'm already torn between Leg of Lamb Sliders and Gyros. Dolmas, Baklava, and Loukoumades are on my "To Go" list.
Take time to explore the Festival's Agora. Check out the cooking demonstrations. Learn how to cook a delicious Greek dish from some of the best cooks in Dallas. Pick up ingredients for your favorite Greek recipes. Many other Greek items from clothing to books and artifacts are available for purchase. Years ago, I purchased the wonderful cookbook in the photo. The family recipes in the cookbook are delicious!
Come and celebrate with music, dancing, food and children's activities!
