Oklahoma City Life and Events and Fun September 2015
Here are some of my favorite events coming up in Oklahoma City this month. As a REALTOR® in OKC, I support our local real estate market. I am very active in making sure that my clients get the word about fun in OKC. I want to get out the news about the great local events in Edmond and Oklahoma City life. I want to make sure it will find its way into the lives of my home buyer and home seller clients. - Faberge: Jeweler to the Tsars - This is an amazing exhibition at our local Oklahoma City Museum of Art in Downtown OKC. You'll see Faberge Eggs and the history of the man and the company that brought them into our world.
- Enter the Matrix: Indigenous Printmakers - I guess you can tell that I love our local OKC art and culture scene and I am partial to art museums and art exhibitions? Well, why not? We have an excellent venue for this exhibition in Norman, Oklahoma at the Fred Jones Jr. Museum of Art!
- Shakespeare in Part: Julius Caesar - This performance will be at our Myriad Botanical Gardens main stage in Downtown OKC. If you love great theatre, then you will want to experience this outdoors at one of my most loved attractions Downtown in OKC. The Myriad Botanical Gardens is a treasure to residents of Oklahoma City.
- Dislocated Histories by David Crismon, Urban Photographer - You'll find this great show at JRB Art at the Elms in Oklahoma City. This is a perfect venue to experience this great show by a very talented artist here in OKC.
- Astronomy Night in the Garden - Another great chance to visit our Myriad Botanical Gardens in OKC. Gaze at some heavenly bodies and get your astral groove on here in Downtown OKC at The Gardens! H&8th Midtown - This is the big one, the very popular outdoor community event that happens once a month in our Oklahoma City.
- The H&8th night market and friends - it will unleash a fleet of food trucks on Midtown. This is a new and extremely fun community OKC event! Here are the details:
H&8th, which starts at NW 6 and Hudson and continues up to NW 10 with a branch at NW 7 that extends to Walker will welcome the following trucks in its designated space: Huey’s Shaved Ice, Taste of Soul, Chick N Wangs, Cornish Smokehouse, Pagoda Pizza, Big O’s Pork and Dreams, Let’s Do Greek, Kaiteki Ramen, La Gumbo YaYa, Ciao Wagon, The Loaded Bowl, Lalo’s Taco Chop, 2 Brother’s Bistro, Cafe Bella on Wheels, Off the Hook, Smokin’ Okies, Epic Pops, El Reno Onion Burgers,Big Truck Tacos, Back Door BBQ. Sizzle N Spice,Phill Me Up. Mexiasian Fusion, C-N-D Chicken on a Stick. Beverages can be had at Elemental Coffee,Ludivine, R&J Supper Club, ScissorTale Salon Water station, Jerky.com's water station, Energy FC/Anthem Brewing Company's beer station and COOP Ale Works.
