Summer is gone and with it is the bright green grass and the pretty blooming flowers. Curb appeal takes a hit on your price. Here are some things you can do to improve your curb appeal and place your house higher up on the buying list.

Pumpkins are always bright and colorful. You can use them in so many ways to decorate your front yard and the entryway to your house. This one gives a homey feel with names written on the pumpkins. Notice the fall leaves in the background. We don't get much leaf color here in Amarillo but Hobby Lobby or Michaels can help you out.

Gourds are also very colorful with the feeling off fall. You can create an easy way of using them to bring a warm feeling that your buyers will love.

Straw is used in a number of ways. Sometimes you will see a scarecrow or a doll or a wreath. Whatever the case, it will help cover up the bygone summer.

Colored fall leave bring the flavor of the season together. You can use them in a variety of ways.

Whatever you do, don't go overboard. Simple and elegant is the way to go instead of too much and junky looking.
