Another new Brand Hotel coming to Miami

Real Estate Agent with Beachfront Realty 3220434

An Ibis Hotel is being built by Galwan, a Brazilian developer. This is the second new hotel this month that I have never heard of being built in Miami's Brickell area.

Back in 2010  the lot had contained the home of a rooster-raising family, which a developer purchased and demolished for parking, sending the chickens to roam free. The proposed Ibis Hotel is planned to be 43 stories, with seven levels of parking and three levels of amenity space on the lower floors. It will have 520 rooms. Looks like a cool building from the renderings....stay tuned!

Marco, in your opinion, what is the fastest growing area in Miami for retail?

Miami is one of those American Cities that continues to be expanding and growing, Marco.  From the pictures, this new hotel looks like it will be a wonderful asset.

Hey that is very cool.  Certainly a sign of a strong economy.  Speaking of chickens, they are everywhere here in Kauai.  Running randomly around.  Somehow there are none at the grand Hyatt resort where we are staying but as soon as we get in our rental car and leave the property we see them everywhere.

Maybe that's why the Hyatt offers so many chicken dishes.   Lol

Marco, yes this new hotel will be a cool looking building when completed and a very expensive one. How are occupancy rates in Miami?

Marco I have stayed at a couple Ibis Hotels in Budapest, HU and interestingly enough they were economical...not high end hotels... so they must be changing directions and going to the high end....Endre
