Bryan TX Boonville Days Heritage Fair 2015
For 10 years now, the Brazos Valley Museum of Natural History has been hosting their annual Boonville Days celebration. At the Bryan TX Boonville Days Heritage Fair 2015, guests will learn about the area's pioneer history from people dressed in period costume. See how people lived on the frontier via live demonstrations of daily life. Get an up close and personal look at an actual stagecoach from Old West days. This was a major source of transportation for travelers to the area. Listen to a real live cowboy poet recite his prose. And that's just the beginning.
The Bryan TX Boonville Days Heritage Fair 2015 actually starts off with a Buffalo Stampede Race Half Marathon and 5K. Beginning at 7:30am (for the half-marathon) and 7:45am (5K race), competitors will run along a relatively flat, scenic route. The 5K course follows the first 1 1/2 miles of the half-marathon route. Awards will be handed out after the races are over. To register, please visit the Buffalo Stampede registration page here.
Still don't think there is anything fun to see or do at the Bryan TX Boonville Days Heritage Fair 2015? How about a Chuck Wagon Cook-Off? Ten teams will be competing in this fun cowboy style cook-off. Luckily, the public gets to benefit from the competition. Grab a $10 ticket and get some tasty grub. Tickets are available at the museum on the day of the event.
