At the start of this week I had the great opportunity of working with client located along the Gold Coast of New Jersey. Their home was pretty impressive, 8,966 square-footage, 13 rooms, 2 three car garages, a beautiful Zen garden, and so much more! Bottom line, there was a lot of space. Keep this comment in mind..."a lot of space."

Situation:
My client noticed a decrees and stagnation in career opportunities since moving into the home about five years ago.
After discussing the history of my client and their home, along with life sections in need of addressing, it became very clear as we walked through the space that many of the rooms where not being utilized. Out of the 13 rooms, only 6 were constantly used. So that means, half of his home's life energy is not being activated.
Further Observations:
The rooms that are not being constantly used, happen to be located by the front entrance of his home, which is connected to career energy. Both rooms either had closed blinds, doors and no other visual aids or human activity that interacts with those spaces. The are literally aligning with my client's description, "stagnant."
Sometimes having a lot of space could create the potential for stagnation in energy flow. In this case, that is what was exactly happening. This is not to say you can not live a luxurious life and enjoy a huge house, by all means you can. Yet, be mindful if the function of a room is not being purposefully fulfilled or at least acknowledged, stillness may come to that room and life sections in where it's located. And this goes the same for homes and apartments of all sizes.
Solution?
Add activation cures: real plants (if possible), color from artwork that promotes rhythm with its composition, mirrors, opening the blinds to allow in natural light and even the doors into the rooms themselves. There is much more, but for now it's a start.
