Wordless Wednesday . . . New Flowers For My Garden

 

While out with a client earlier this week, I noticed some really nice Asters that are in full Fall bloom.  I love purple shades and have a lot of it in my garden.  But, it's mostly Spring, early Summer blooms.  I plucked a few and when I scattered them out on a paper towel to dry, I thought they looked pretty . . . just laying there.

So I snapped a pic and played around with some lighting / exposure settings.  The seeds are drying now, and have withered and darkened, but soon they will be vibrant in my garden.

Interestingly enough, I've been looking for a bed spread that has colors and patterns like your picture.  I looked all spring and summer to no avail.  All the new "fashionable" patterns seem to be funky geometrics, or solids.  I hate them.

Now isn't that interesting.  I have shopped Wayfair, but didn't see those patterns. I love purple.  It's one of my two favorite colors. Green is the other.  So purple flower with green stems and leaves are certainly my favorite.
