Bring a non-perishable food item or a cash donation and get a pumpkin. All donations will be given to Neighborhood Services, Inc, one of the largest hunger assistance service providers in Columbus, Ohio.
Neighborhood Services' mission is to provide food and emergency assitance for needy neighbors in the Ohio State University area. They will serve any family in need of food, clothing, and other material assistance.
In 2015, NSI has experienced a 27% increase in pantry visits. As of mid-September, NSI has already 
provided a 7-day food supply to 4,034 families and 12,601 individuals. NSI has given fresh fruits and vegetables to 1,042 families, new backpacks and school supplies to 417 students, and an Easter meal to 198 households. During the upcoming holiday season, NSI anticpates 
providing more than 750 holiday food baskets and giving Christmas toys to 650 Columbus children.
