When Was The Last Time You Could Put Yourself In This Picture?

Okay, that's a really long title for a blog. When I'm bored I go though my collection of clip art and try to organize it. I often find something that either works for a post I've typed up or something that inspires a post. So what do you think of the following?

Drive-in Movie

I think the last Drive-in movie I went to would have been around 1972. I don't remember the movie because I didn't go to watch the movie... but I had a really good time! I do not know when Minot's out door theater closed but the last of the remains of it were removed only a couple of years ago. Do you remember the last time you went to a Drive-in Movie and what was showing? Do you remember the name of your home town drive in theater?

William Feela the last one I went to was at Perham MN. I wouldn't doubt that it's still there.

I actually went to a drive in in NJ Lou Ludwig as my mom was from Atlantic City.

Bob "RealMan" Timm ~ oh my gosh, Bob... my last time was some years before 1972 (by then I was living back in NYC and we had no drive-in there; come to think of it, we didn't even have cars!). I think my last drive-in experience was around 1968 in New Hampshire.

The last one I can actually remember was The Boob Tube in 1975 while in the Navy overseas in Italy at an outdoor theater. My home town drive in was Sunset Drive-In. Thanks for the memories Bob.

Lisa Von Domek in regards to my own experience when "I do the math" it's almost frightening. Up North here I understand why there no longer any out door theaters, I'm curious however if there are any survivors down South?

What a neat memory Ted Glover , were out door theaters big in Europe?

We have one still operating in northern Indiana, about 45 minutes away.  I have no Idea what was playing, but we went about 7 years ago.  I do remember all the names of the theatres around here back in the 1960s.

Yup Alan Kirkpatrick I bet my kids have no idea what a drive-in is, I'll have to ask them.

And it may be a whole lot longer Robert (Alaska Bob) Swetz as you and I live in the only two States that no longer have an out door theater.
