I
am a life long learner. I'm also one of those folks that take my CE Credit pretty serious. If I'm going to spend time learning something I want to be interested in what I'm learning vs cramming 24 hours of online courses in a day. Boooorrrinnnggg!
With that said, I'm not a big believe of collecting designations unless they are value added. My main goal was to get the GRI Designation as all my research showed that this one provided all the value and learning that a Real Estate School should be providing us.
We all know school just helps us pass an exam, but I truly believe getting your GRI Designation gets you prepared to sell Real Estate.
Some of the best classes I've taken on contract law, disclosures, servicing both buyer and seller you name it. Plus the room is full of others that want to learn vs just checking a box so the conversation is great and the facilitators tend to the be the best out there with tons of experience.
It is a journey, mine took 2 years since the classes are spread out. It isn't cheap as you pay for classes. (However I discovered later the scholorships..yahoo). But it is worth it!
Just wanted to share my snoopy dance... You all may go back to what you were doing.. :-)
