Uh Oh! Lost in Space...

Yipes! I was working on the premise that today was Thursday! It took me a while to convince myself that it's Friday as I thought yesterday was Wednesday!!

I looked at my computer date, then the wall calendar, GOOGLED "What day is today" (that went nowhere), and then turned on the T.V. GOOD GRIEF, Charlie Brown =:o) Talk about lost in space. [grin]

We have much to do this weekend starting with attending the North Shore Music Theater (NSMT) production of Billy Elliot http://www.nsmt.org/ 

 

 

 

Saturday also marks the opening day of The Topsfield Fair. http://www.topsfieldfair.org/www.topsfieldfair.org/ 

Actually, it opens this afternoon BUT the official opening day ceremonies are Saturday morning. This year marks the 197th year of the fair. It is the oldest agricultural fair in the nation.

               

Besides these 2 (two) venues there is much to do on the North Shore of Massachusetts.

I was really hoping to get over to the Topsfield field, but with my bum knee, walking that much is out of the question, it was pretty sad to have such a nice Saturday and not being able to head there. Ended up working all day instead, so not much fun there but did get a home under contract.

As I grow older Scott Godzyk my tolerance for the cold has lessened. BUT last year was really cold. We can now have Indian Summer since we've had the frost.

You should consider moving to TX too!!! The weather is great and you don't pay no State Income Tax. Plus, Real Estate sales are year-round. I couldn't do this, and survive if I still lived in IL.

The show was a moving one in 3 different places. It happened again today. I woke up thinking it was Thursday. Then realized it was Friday when my wife said she was going food shopping. Quickly showered, dressed and ran out the door to a Men's Bible study then off to a doctor appoint, then bring car to shop and walk to an appointment. Doug Dawes - in answer to your question, I got Lost In Space the day I became a Realtor. That's when I discovered I wasn't going to get paid, unless I sold, but even if I didn't get paid, I still owed and paid bills. And I also found out fast I was the Tech Department, sales person, Advertiser, Photographer, Admin, CEO, CFO, COO, Maintenance, the person putting in data into the computer, navigator, person in charge of payroll and budget, building relationships, etc., etc., etc. 

Gosh, it's times like this when I really miss the good old Franklin Planner. Technology doesn't make you any smarter - at least that's true for me!

I feel better know I am not the only person. I find that after working with buyers looking at homes, closing a sale and then listing a home all in one day,  the day becomes more like a blur.  It has been a great week with plenty of clients to assist.  Today is my day of rest and reading.  I think it is still Saturday!
