Sunday October 4, 2015 7:30 AM The Friends Mercer County Parks is proud to announce The First Annual Run for Mercer County Parks 5K on Sunday, October 4, 2015 - the flat and fast 5K course will start and end in the beautiful Rosedale Park District of Mercer Meadows, in Hopewell Township, NJ. The race will start at 9 a.m. and will be rain or shine. Registration for the event is required and can be done online at. Cost to register is $30. Registration can also be done the day of the race at 7:30 a.m. for $35; no new registrations will be accepted after 8:45 a.m. The runner field will be limited to 500 participates.

'Finding Your Voice' with keynote address presented by Hakeem Rahim, a graduate of Harvard and Columbia universities, who began speaking opening about his 16-year journey with bipolar disorder in 2012. He has testified before Congress and devoted his life to ending stigma. Workshops include a variety of interactive and hands-on wellness experiences. $10 includes breakfast, lunch, workshops, and a drumming circle.
