One complaint we often hear from folks we work with is that their previous Realtor® didn't communicate well with them.
"They stuck the sign in the yard, took some pictures, and we didn't hear from them for months."
Hearing this enough times early in our careers actually helped us to become better listing agents.
We have a lot to offer our sellers in the Fort Wayne area, including our market knowledge, professional photography, drone video where needed, a 30-60-90 day plan to sell their home, and many other things.
The most powerful thing that we offer on top of everything else is communication.
This year most of what we have listed has gone in the first week or so, so a long term plan didn't come into play with all of those.
There have been a few listings that were tougher sells, and (full disclosure here) there are a few homes that we couldn't sell in the alloted time.
Even with those that we didn't sell, those sellers received great communication from us. We reached out to them on a weekly basis with a phone call and an email.
There were many times that we had nothing new to report, but we always want our sellers to know that we're here for them, and we're doing our best to get their home sold.
Communication is key in this business.
