Carrollton Alabama's FACE in the Window Fest a Success

Although the weather turned unseasonably cool this past weekend, it could not dampen the sweet spirit and excitement of the residents who attended the FACE in the Window Fest held on the square in downtown Carrollton, Alabama.
Mom and I arrived around 8 a.m. to set up my craft booth. We saw cousins, aunts,
nieces, in-laws, and distant relatives that we hadn't seen in years.
The Carrollton High School Band and cheerleaders kept the crowds entertained, as did other area performers. People were line dancing and several couples danced on the square to soulful tunes.
Food vendors served burgers, hot dogs, chicken, fish, BBQ, and brisket nachos.
The Carrollton Indian mascot posed for a photo with yours truly.

The population of Carrollton, according to the County Clerk, is around 1100. I'm not sure of the total number in attendance, but the Fest was well organized and all who attended enjoyed themselves immensely.

The FACE in the Window Fest was a wonderful opportunity to visit friends and family and to enjoy a weekend getaway. I didn't take many photos, but hope you enjoy the few I was able to take.
