I know one newly wed couple who are very glad the the east coast hurricane turned out to sea. In spite of that that this past weekend was rainy, windy, and unseasonably gold. My weather app said is was 50 degrees. It was a far cry from the beautiful autumn weekend before.
The wedding was held under a tent at the Geer Christmas Tree Farm.
Although the weather was cold and windy it did not dampen the celebration that this couple had so lovingly prepared. I included each of their favorite wines with wine pairings. There was also a roaring fire pit outside the tent.
Most of the guests were out of town and staying at the local Courtyard by Marriott. We had a nice breakfast Sunday morning with the bride and groom.
