I am working today and there is a special theatrical group in the gardens where I work. Frog Ballet is doing fun and strange performances throughout the day.It is a holiday weekend here and it is busy. I am outside and it is cold but soon enough the tourists will be gone and my little town and area will be quiet again.

The igniter in my expensive Big Chill stove is broken again. The part is about $100.00 and the labor twice that. I am having company this weekend and now we will be eating out for all our meals. Never buy a Big Chill appliance: they are really good looking but are not reliable. If you want vintage buy a real refurbished one: I wish I had.

Next week I hope to get clarity on some medical issues and get my lawn guy to return my calls. Going with the flow.....there are no other options.

You're lucky Noah. They make retro looking appliances that are slated to be modern. They don't stand behind their products though. Enjoy the weekend.

I've had a Weber grill (propane), which has been loyal to me for over a decade. In fact, I believe it's almost 15 years old.  If it were to ever bite the dust, I'd buy another just like it!
