Timely Gardening Tips Fall

The only time we are allowed to plant trees/shrubs in No CA are when we have water. It is not against the law to use rainwater to plant or repleshing dead plants/trees. We can water lawn once a week.

Estates selling like hot cakes have brown grass. There is a house down the street 1+ ac landscaped with heated pool.  They are on city(not private well) water. No solar heating. They are spending more than an average mortgage payment on the landscape and pool to show its greens.  There is no taker although it is a very new modern estate.
