Does your Lafayette, Indiana lender answer their phone after 5 PM, or on weekends?

In the fast paced world of real estate how many times do real estate agents need a lender to adjust the price down on a pre-qualification letter for their buyer as they are writing an offer at 9 PM at night so their buyer is not put at a disadvantage?

Most of the national banks and many of our Lafayette brick and mortar lenders DO NOT, and the letter may state in indelible ink they are preapporved up to $200,000 even though your buyer is offering $180,000 on a home listed at $184,900.

Hmmmm, I wonder what that seller is going to think when they see that set in stone, pre-qualification letter for $200,000 from the inflexible and unavailable lenders who do business that way???
