Small spaces can be amazing. Staging in Burlington

Home Stager with Janice Ankrett Home Staging

Smaller homes can be just as comfortable as larger homes.

The trick is to use the space available wisely.

Closets can become far more useful when outfitted properly.

I love the solution this condo owner found to give their second bedroom double duty.

Here it is as a guest room>

Here it is as the den/office >
What amazes me is that nothing on the desk has to be moved to create the bed.

Love the creativity on how one utilizes space. Makes me want to have a den/guest room.

I have never seen a convertable bed like that, very cool.

Janice- I consulted on a house that had one similar to this and it made so much sense for this homeowner.  Small spaces don't have to live that way!

Janice I just sold a home that has a unit like this - fabulous piece of furniture that stayed with the home.

I love this example.  We have visited a small winery tasting room/home when they are harvesting or doing tastings that is set up like a dining room/living room and kitchen, and they have a king size murphy bed, when they are staying the night...It is such a great way to have a workable space.  A

Hi Janice, what a great solution for making the most out of a small space.  I need to look at my office and see if we can make better use of some of our space.  Thanks for sharing.

Nice, and kind of surprising as it's generally the couch you'd expect to turn into a bed vs. the desk.

Nice blog, Janice Ankrett .  I am currently contemplating sizing down and a Murphy bed design is on my radar.  Thanks for the blog post!

I love living spaces like this. Actually, the less space you have the more organized you must be and that is a very good thing!
