Shift Happens: a video remix 2014, I just receive it and had to share.....

 

Since I am visible all over the net I get all sorts of emails, questions and information. When I received this email with  a very interesting video. It was clear to me that it had to be shared with my circle of friends, associates and those who read my blog posts on and off or on a regular basis.

This video is  a little more than four minutes but worth every second. So please make the time and watch it. Do not blink or you will miss some valuable information.

Just watched the video, yes, it is mind boggling.  The building you pictured was designed by Frank Gehry, and we leased one of the buildings...the property if I am not mistaken was owned by our former governor.

Back to the video, what it fails to mention is what will be our state of mind, our creativity who will write the music, paint the pictures, sing the songs, love the babies, the animals?  Will we better people untangled from the restriction of PC, behavior.  Will we still beat each other up with criticism, as well as ourselves?  All the changes are expected, will we change?  That is what I want to know.  A

Ron and Alexandra Seigel  it is mind boggling indeed. Yes it was a Frank Gehry building and Google was the main tenant and they bought it recently last couple of years.... I believe you are correct the Terminator:)) he owned a lot of properties did you ever go to his restaurant in Santa Monica? It was on my list but then it closed....

Yes about the video it is a bit scary my take computers will be writing songs:)) just kidding, Endre

Yes, we did, he was in partnership with Rockenwagner, and it was as Ron would put it MMMM mediocre.  Gehry also did the Edgemar building on Main Street a few blocks from Pico.  We handled the leasing for that.  One of the spaces we had for lease was tiny, ideal for a coffee take out, the rest of the building was office and some retail, and Rockenwagner was going to open there..  Dennis Hopper and his then girlfriend wanted to do a coffee place, the owner was willing to entertain the idea.  Dennis wanted to meet Gehry, and Gehry did not like him, and the owner went along with him...crazy days, crazy times..  

On the video, and the projections, Ron read a book that Dick Greenberg recommended, and it was about how artificial intelligence would eventually rule...I keep asking what is the point is every thing is perfectly figured out and thought out for us...The fun is gone from the game, and where are we in the equation?  A

Ron and Alexandra Seigel  how interesting our lives intertwined before AR and we just did not meet... what is the old saying "six degrees of separation"...I must do a post about that... I did not think that an " Austria Wiener Schnitzel" type restaurant was worth my money hence it was low on the list to visit.....ironically I like Rockenwagner's Bread... we just had the cheese bread and the pretzel balls yesterday...Diane said what are you doing...I stopped at the Bakery .... on a side note all good questions:))Endre

p.s.: we have to talk about Dennis another time...

Colby & Michele Myers  I found that as just amazing....living in Google's Backyard I remember when they were in Santa Monica and trucks used to come to their building ....They were Mobile Shredding Trucks. I thought that is amazing....funny part is that was about five or six years ago:))Endre
