So, the Wall Street Journal came to our offices to interview the CEO and others in our wholesale mortgage company about our "unique" company policy, a firm 40 hour work week. Unlike some other lenders that feel that you're not working unless you put in an extra 10, 20 or more hours a week, we believe in a hard 40 and then go home to your family. What do you think?
And after 62 years, I finally made it into the Wall Street Journal (and for a positive story). If you go to the on-line version of The Wall Streeet Journal and look for the story, titled "Radical Idea at the Office: a 40-Hour Workweek", by Rachel Feintzeig on October 13, 2015, that's me in the picture, in the black suit on the left. (photo by Nick King) Look Mom & Dad, my picture is in the news! And yes, I am blessed to still have both my mother and father, Dad's 92 and Mom's 88, they're both doing fine and still involved in the real estate investment business.
