Living in Wellington Florida since 1988. I have seen a lot of changes in the community. It has become a diverse community that has grown into one of the most desirable places to live. Wellington has always been a great family oriented community
Village park is one of the jewels that make it a great place the facilities include 2 gymnasiums (3 courts), recreation administrative offices, 5 soccer fields, 4 football fields, 2 hockey rinks, 4 baseball/softball fields, 6 concession/restroom buildings, 3 pavilions, heart trail, tot lot, multipurpose rooms and game room.
Wellington just opened our new 15 acre-Tennis Complex that includes a 4,506-square-foot pro shop with a canvas-covered rooftop balcony and 21 self irrigated clay courts. Venus Williams' design company VStarr Interiors decorated the pro shop. Venus was there for the grand opening of the complex.
Of course we also have the fabulous Equestrian community and have earned the designation as the Winter Equestrian Capital of the World. Featuring jumping | dressage | entertainment | dining | shopping. And we have exciting Polo Events that keep you on the edge of your seat and enjoy these incredible athletes compete.
We also have the Aero Club Neighborhood featuring Estate homes where you can fly your plane home and land on Aero Club's paved runway and park your-plane in your own hanger Wellington's Aero Club is now allowing Jets on it's runway as well, with some restrictions. Jets must weigh no more than 12,500 lbs.and must have a stage 3 motor. Some say this is one of the quietest motors a Jet can have.
Home prices in Wellington are doing well with a range from $100,000 - $40,000,000 there is definitely something for everyone.
