We visited our son while he was working in DC.  Rode the subway everywhere.  To be honest...I am a wide open spaces kind of guy but it was relaxing not having to be behind the wheel all the time.

Lenn, if we had the ability to use a train system up my way I would use it.  I don't understand why so many people in the DC area do not use the train system more and avoid sitting in to looooong daily traffic jams.

Mike.  Open spaces are always the first choice, but our train system is very helpful around DC and Baltimore.

Deanna.  I do drive home buyers.  That said, I often pick them up at a train station.

George.  Many do use our train systems for commuting to and from work, but Americans are dedicated to driving everywhere.
