The 2nd Annual Get Started Tucson, a small-business pitch competition hosted by Cox Business and Inc. is on November 5th from 5:30 to 8:30pm at Tucson Scottish Rite, 160 S. Scott Ave.
Southern Arizona start-ups and small businesses can come to compete in a “Shark Tank”-style business-plan pitch contest. The winner will get a $5,000 cash prize, with additional prizes valued at more than of $5,000.
You can nominate yourself until October 26th just visit the CoxBlue website. Five finalists will be chosen to present their pitches to a panel of business experts and a live audience. Get Started Tucson’s panel of small-business experts include chairman of the screening panel for Desert Angels; founder and CEO of Startup Tucson; executive editor of Inc. magazine; founder and CEO of Corporate CARE Solutions; and the vice president of Cox Business.
