Going through some old blogs and found this video . Many agents are doing video marketing Todd Miller an agent in Las Vegas did this video which I found entertaining . Especially the parts about Zillow and how would they know what someones home was worth if they never were inside their home
In order to determine value a seller should have a Real Estate agent give them a Market analysis of their home . In order to do this the agent should also walk through their home and see the condition of the property . They also see what like homes have sold for and where homes are currently priced at in the marketplace . The Real Estate agent may give the seller some tips and advice for repairs to do to get ready to put the home on the market
When showing homes agents may point out features of the home and give the buyer some advice that may be helpful. Of course first they have them approved by a mortgage banker before showing homes .
Sometimes some agents over step their bounds . That is why it is so important to find a good Real Estate Agent to work with Someone you can trust and will look out for your interests
