East Bay Pumpkin Patches

Before you go searching for just the right pumpkin for your Halloween decor, make your way through the giant straw tunnel in the Plumpkin Playground. Join the duck races at the Little Carver's Barnyard. Try your hand at the Barn Ball Toss, bowling or any other fun event. Hop aboard the train that runs all around the grounds. Admission to the farm is free. However, it will cost $7/child during the week and $8/child on the weekends to visit Plumpkin Playground. Little Carver's Barnyard will cost $5/child weekdays and $6/child on the weekends. Or, you could purchase a Playland combo for $10/child on weekdays and $12/child on the weekends. This will give you unlimited access to both areas. Train rides are $3/person. The trains and playlands close down at dusk.
Where: ABC Tree Farms (1090 Oak Grove in Concord, 5041 Blum Rd in Martinez & Delta Fair Blvd in Antioch)
When: Now through October 31st 10am to 9pm Sun to Thurs, 10am to 10pm Fri & Sat (til 9pm in Antioch)
Cost: Free admission, $10-$25 for inflatables (depending on amount of playtime you want)

All three of these ABC Tree Farm locations offer tons of inflatable fun to go with your pumpkins. Pick up stencils, paints, ideas, scoops and carving kits to design your own jack-o-lanterns at home. Enjoy fun photo-ops at the specially decorated "memory zone" areas to capture the moment to share for years to come.

Get tips on painting your pumpkin at the historic Shadelands Ranch. Visit the petting zoo. Your price of admission includes a small pumpkin to take home with you. Each Friday is movie night.
