This year will be the 45th annual celebration of the Kona Coffee Cultural Festival.
The coffee festival is Hawaii’s oldest culinary festival. This popular event begins on Friday, November 6 and continues Sunday, November 15, 2015. It celebrates Kona coffee, an exclusive name reserved for coffee produced from beans grown on Hawaii Island.
10 days of events will honor Kona’s cultural heritage, celebrating the Kona original coffee pioneers and local farmers and artisans as well. Participants can enjoy sampling coffees, touring coffee plantations, perusing the offerings at various art festivals, several historical exhibits and more.
Kona coffee was the first label to make a name worldwide for Hawaiian-grown coffee.
The largest coffee plantation in the USA is on the island of Kauai, and their coffee is now winning top awards too. Don't forget to book at trip to beautiful Kauai too when you visit our islands!
