This year will be the 45th annual celebration of the Kona Coffee Cultural Festival.

The coffee festival is Hawaii’s oldest culinary festival. This popular event begins on Friday, November 6 and continues Sunday, November 15, 2015. It celebrates Kona coffee, an exclusive name reserved for coffee produced from beans grown on Hawaii Island.

10 days of events will honor Kona’s cultural heritage, celebrating the Kona original coffee pioneers and local farmers and artisans as well. Participants can enjoy sampling coffees, touring coffee plantations, perusing the offerings at various art festivals, several historical exhibits and more.

Kathleen,

We both are fans of Kona coffee, especially the peaberry variety (smaller beans).  I love finding out that the largest plantation is on Kauai. Have a great weekend. A

Are those children workers or tourists picking their own coffee beans? I don't know that I have had this coffee, but I would be willing to try some.  I love coffee!
