When a Home in Sacramento Takes Longer Than Usual to Sell

Real Estate Agent with RE/MAX Gold DRE #00697006

Never once did my seller ask me to stop sending her feedback on home showings over the four months it took to finally sell her home, regardless of how discouraging. It was fairly apparent her home was unique, which meant it would appeal to a smaller pool of buyers who would appreciate its individuality. On top of which, the sellers were a two-career couple without children, so the home was not exactly child-friendly.

Received a lot of comments from parents as to why they were not buying the home. It doesn't stop me, though. It just provided more clarity about where I needed to focus to get that home in Sacramento sold.

Good morning Elizabeth. It sounds like you worked very with you clients. It might have taken 4 months, but eventually the right buyers came along that thought the home was perfect for them. Well done!

Well done Elizabeth.  Though, in all honesty, I know that you will sell everything that you list, provided that the sellers are reasonable.

Elizabeth, we all have had "that house", that did take a bit longer to secure a solid offer, but eventually they all sell!

understanding who the buyer may be is important. good job. and being patient is very good. on your part and their part. i for one like to hear the feedback. sometimes i see something that we can change, as opposed to what we cannot

It's great that you were working with sellers who are great about accepting showings, even when it's inconvenient.

There's a huge difference between a professional agent and someone with a license who has no idea what they are doing.  Sellers who hire you are getting the most knowledgeable and dedicated Sacramento agent in the entire area.
