Gravitate toward love.

Do you like what you do for a living or do you love your profession? There is a distinct difference.

Like means meeting obligations. Love means exceeding expectations, meeting the work day head on every day!

Like means eating when necessary. Love means relishing every tantalizing morsel while anticipating the next bite.

Like means tolerating friends and family. Love means being held willingly in loving arms, captivated, yearning for more.

Our time here is limited, like it or love it! It's up to you.

Hello Bob.  Real Estate is a very unique and challenging business.  About the only job I have ever observed that is filled with more challenges and rewards is parenting.  So much in common, and the skills required are closely akin.  Perhaps that is why women seems so drawn to and successful in this profession.  Multitasking, kissing booboos, being understanding and firm at the same time, and making commitments requires at least the liking of the job; and success comes from loving the calling.  The true rewards are beyond the monetary: think of first steps, first day of school, graduations, weddings, grandkids, and such.  Moms do a great amount of taxi driving, rushing to have everything in place, and thinking ahead.  I would say each of us have at least one lady clearly in mind, and probably scores.

We dads are not immune to the same calling.  Many of us are better dads for having dealt with so many childish actors (many of whom wear the "R" on their lapel).  These are the REALTORS® I love working with, and that excites me as I begin working with my youngest daughter.  I know already that future clients will find a new and special mom in her.  Fair warning for those who fail to respect her clients: she showed me early on that there is a she bear protecting her cubs.  She will love her job just as she loves her daily tasks of being mom to three boys.  My job will be like going to Baskin-Robins®.  Just don't know which flavor I will walk out with each day.
