The most exciting thing to happen in Land Park lately, apart from tearing up the streets to install new sewer lines, is The Mill at Broadway. This is a new infill project featuring affordable homes for millennials and empty nesters. It's not just a new home concept, it's a design that is meant to complement the way people live today, those who don't really want to rent but also don't want the complexities and demands of home ownership.

Elizabeth: Ok, I see we have another thing in common, you also like liver & onions. Most people cringe when I admit to it. Know a great place in Honolulu that serves it (Murphy's), now have to find one on the Big Island where I plan to be soon!! In the meantime, if I could make the time I'd love to have some at Land Park before that, but... Can't believe how busy it is this year.

I love properly prepared liver and onions . . . so medium rare and tender that you can cut it with a fork. And the funny thing is I hated it as a kid. In fact, I cut all my hair and ran away from home when my mother forced me to eat burned to the crisp liver smothered in catsup, ick. Then a client took me to The Ritz for lunch, ordered liver and onions, and my viewpoint was dramatically altered.
