Rents seem to be getting more and more expensive throughout the country.  This is an unsustainable trend, but it will continue to be painful for those who either can't or don't want to be home owners.

Hi Sarah and Les -- finding the "right" property to lease/rent can be difficult.  If a prospective tenant finds something acceptable -- don't hesitate -- it might be gone before you know it.

Gabe Sanders - the recent recession put lots of new construction on hold. It is just a matter of supply catching up to demand. As rent continues to rise, the allure to homeownership will increase.

Good Morning Michael Jacobs,

You just stated the secret word for tenants...acceptable.  The longer one waits, the more they pay into a landlord's mortgage.
