Kauai events - Fireworks at Poipu Beach

Looking for fireworks on your vacation to Kauai? If you are here over New Years head to Poipu for a good show.

You can join locals and other visitors at Poipu Beach Park for the annual New Year's Eve fireworks display. Every year there is live music, a good variety of food, and a fun casual atmosphere to enjoy the show.

Fireworks between 9 and 10pm.

Visitor's Tip: Get there early. Most of the crowd starts gathering around 5:30 pm, but  you'll probably find a place to sit even if you arrive later.

Kathleen, there is nothing quite like being on the Hawaiian Islands during Christmas and New Years!  Hard to watch a football bowl game when it is sunny and 80 degrees outside!!!

Lottie, maybe one day  soon you'll be here over the holidays. I remember one Christmas season when we were here as visitors. It was fun and very different. Now I find it a warm and easy-going time when the community comes out and celebrates together.

Hi Kathleen.  I had the pleasure of seeing the fireworks of New Year's eve in Honolulu back in 1979 as I flew into Hickam AFB on one of my Pacific flights.  It was an awesome show.
