Fall Entertaining and Decorating Inspiration
Is Your Home on the Market?
Bring In Some Fall Decor to Inspire Your Buyers...
by Joyce Marsh Homes and Lifestyles
Fall has Arrived. Yes, it's hard to believe that the summer is gone, and we are officially into Fall, but yes it's true. Now is the perfect time to start thinking about decorating our homes for the fall season. Out with the summer, and in with the rich colors and smells of autumn.
If your home is currently on the market, why not bring some fall decorating inspiration into your home to inspire your buyers. Staging your home for fall will not only be festive and make your home more beautiful, but will be attractive to buyers as well. A beautiful Fall Centerpiece, or decorating your front porch with some striking colorful mums will also add to your homes curb appeal.
Georgeous Fall Floral Centerpiece
Classic Blue and White mixed with fall flowers make a striking floral arrangement
and table setting. This beautiful photo and inspiration is from Stone Gable Blog
Fall Dining Alfresco
While the weather is still lovely, why not try entertaining alfresco. Stone Gable shared
this outdoor table setting which I think is absolutely lovely. This setting incorporates natural
and textural elements into the design, like pumpkins, leaves, gourds, berries, and burlap.
Make your home smell similar to a "Williams and Sonoma" Store
When you walk into a Williams and Sonoma store it always smells wonderful.
Want that same scent at home? You can easily Make your Home Smell
Wonderful too. Here's a similar recipe:
Almost like the "Williams and Sonoma" Store Scent Recipe
- 1 lemon
- Rosemary
- Water
- Vanilla
One lemon, cut into slices, a few sprigs of fresh rosemary, a pot filled about 2/3 with water, and 1-2 T vanilla. Simmer on low all day long, and just add more water as needed! You’ll love the wonderful smell of your home!! The mixture will last a few days. Pour it down your drain when it’s done to freshen up the smell of your disposal.
