I have to admit I don't watch presidential debates. It's a lot like watching football for three hours to see fifteen minutes of actual play, only boring. I usually read a book or something. Then when the smoke has cleared, I let the media geniuses give me the "cliff notes" version.

From what I've seen of last night's show, the moderators have a lot to learn about how to moderate. The moderator asks the question, and the candidates debate. Last night the moderator would ask the question and proceed to argue about the answer with the recipient.

It’s clear that they only wanted to confuse the issues rather than clarify them, and hijack the election for their own purposes. The network also made a lot of money for supporting the format.

Thanks for sharing this.  I missed the debate because we do not have cable and you can't get it on a live stream off of the computer-they wouldn't make as much money.  Thanks for the update on it and it sounds like it was like the first debate.  It would be nice if the candidates could just debate the issues and the moderators just moderate.
