South Palm Dr., Beverly Hills, CA.
South Palm Drive is a quiet street that goes often unnoticed, compared to the more well-known part North Palm Dr. I decided to highlight some of the less traveled streets of Beverly Hills. The idea was to let you all get to know Beverly Hills. North Palm Dr. fame comes from the fact that it lies between Santa Monica Blvd and Sunset Blvd where the prices are quite expensive. The locals call it “The Flats” i.e.: the flats of Beverly Hills. Needless to say if you see Tourist Busses then you know you are on North Palm Dr.
The closer the homes are to Santa Monica Blvd the less pricey they are. In other words the 500 block is around $3-$6 million range vs. the 700 block might be anywhere from $12 million to $29 million. In other words the closer the homes are to Sunset Blvd the pricier they are. One particular house everyone talks about is of course Simon Cowell’s home. Needless to say I am digressing.
So with that said let me return to South Palm Dr. which is South of Wilshire Blvd to Pico Blvd. They are more modest and low key homes. South Palm Dr. as you can see lives up to its name, the street is easily recognized by the Palm Trees. It parallels Maple Dr. and in case you missed it Maple Dr. is covered with Maple Trees. The price range is a more modest $1.8 million to $2.9 million depending on size and condition.
