I'm seeing RED today!

By
Real Estate Agent with ReMax Realtec Group

Seeing RED because the repair estimate come in. $638. No, that's ok.

The closing moved from office one to office two, three miles away. I did not get the memo. Stuff happens.

Owner one advised owner two "Talk to my attorney."

Unable to open the front door for the final walk through.

Got the keys, "Whose food is that in the refrigerator?"

Buyer reveals, "Oh I have a 70 pound 'comfort dog' that must be allowed into this no pets community.

Although inconvenient, these are simply the cost of participating in the real estate business.

The RED of which I write comes to me in the best of times and the worst of times. This RED came as avairian aquaintances, winged and feathered friends who visit me early every day to remind me.... to CHALLENGE me.... to call into rememberance all for which I must be grateful and of which I may rejoice.

Momma and Papa CARDINAL, blazened with color that means many different things to so many people.

For some, RED is symoblic of the ultimate sacrifice.

For some, RED is symbolic of fortune, wealth and good luck.

RED is the color of fire and blood.

RED is associated with energy, war, danger, strength, power, determination.

Also with passion, desire and love.

RED is an emotionally intense color.

Physiologicaly, RED enhances metabolism, increases respiration and raises blood pressure.

Each day, as RED appears on my window sill, Momma and Papa Cardinal remind me to be grateful and to choose the REDS I will be today. For me RED is a symbolic reminder, my pathway was created by the sacrifice of another. And for that I am profoundly and enternally grateful.

I choose the CARDINAL RED, reminder of the mantle of gratefulness over me, upon which the foundation of all enduring happiness exists.

And with mission completed, Momma and Papa Cardinal, looked towards, taking flight, perhaps seeking another window sill, to bring a touch from the Master to the malable and expectant heart.

Good afternoon Annette,

The dog in a no pet community shall be a problem!

It will be five-o'clock somehere to help bring the day to an end.

Make yourself a great day.

...and it IS a problem. I'm not sure how I could have protected the seller in this situation. The requirement was revealed AFTER the contract was executed.

I loved reading this post the red cardinal I've often heard means someone is thinking of you in heaven. I hope you have a great weekend.

Now that thought makes a person wait for a moment.

"Someone is thinking of me." I like that.

Hi Annette,

Not everything is easy, but seeing the best in everything makes it easier.  Have a great day!

It is very much how we have to roll in this business. Stuff happens and you move on. Life, in it's fullness, exists beyond the disciplines of real estate.

HI Annette... I think we all have those insane days that have us seeing red. You certainly have a good handle on it. And I'm taking a lesson from you.

Insane days. Yep, we've all been there when we have heard ourselves think, "What can go wrong next?" and then we find out.

Now, when insanity reins, with Momma and Papas appearance, I can think as Pat Champion suggests, 'Someone is thinking about me' and perhaps intervening for my situation.

Wow!

Annette Lawrence , Palm Harbor, FL 727-420-4041 We are fortunate to have almost daily visits from a Momma and a Poppa cardinal, as well as one of their offspring.  They land, chirp, grab a peanut, and are off again!

That is so incredible. Tomorrow, when they arrive, you may take a moment....... and be grateful not just for the presence of this beautiful family, but all they represent to so many.

Annette,  Very beautifully written. Yes, all those things and stuff and such will happen each day. We have the choice to see the challenge and the beauty in all things.

Thank you Kathleen.

To see the beauty, I have come to realize, comes from expecting to see the beauty. It is surprising how often after ruckus debate, the room quiets and someone asks, "Annette, how do you see it?" What one does in response to that question is much harder than it appears. But having well listened, I can structure my response to resonate, to leave behind that which is good, edifying, of good report, redeeming, beautiful, in what has been shared.

Hi Annette Lawrence , Palm Harbor, FL 727-420-4041 , The Cardinal is Indiana's State bird.  Every winter, when everything is white, the male cardinals hang around on the bare branches showing their bright red color, whith mama somewhere nearby.

Annette Lawrence , Palm Harbor, FL 727-420-4041 They were indeed here again today - as was "Mr Stripes" a ground squirrel - who is most judicious in his selection of peanuts - and not afraid of us in the least!
