November 1, Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure
 
Today, there are more races than you can count.  But none have the same impact on breast cancer as the Komen San Diego Race for the Cure. With $1 million invested here this year alone, Komen San Diego continues to be the County’s largest provider of free breast cancer treatments, services and support.

November 14, Ride the Point  Jim Krause Memorial
Charity Bicycle Ride
 
A ride in memory of Point Loma Rotary fellow Jim Krause who unfortunately passed away 2012 from pancreatic cancer. This event is organized  to raise awareness and funds to research and hopefully one day, a cure. There will be a 10-mile Family Ride, 25-mile Enthusiast and a 62-mile Metric Century.

The Mother Goose Parade is the largest, single-day event in San Diego County and one of the biggest parades of its kind west of the Mississippi. Generally there are over 100 entries featuring clowns, floats, bands, equestrians, giant balloons, and Santa Claus.

November 26, PMCU O’side Turkey Trot
 
More than 10,000 runners and walkers of all ages are expected to “move their feet before they eat” at the 10th Annual Pacific Marine Credit Union O’side Turkey Trot set for Thanksgiving Day. The race also directly benefits the Move Your Feet Before You Eat Foundation, a charity founded by to promote physical activity among youth.
