How Much Difference Does An Hour Make In The Housing Market?

Good morning Bob,,,it rally affects us here in Southern California.  In a few weeks its dark by 5:00 so Open houses usually end at 4:00.

Very nice re-blog.  The dark eves coming so much earlier will certainly affect home showings in the coming months.

Nice reblog Bob Crane . It makes a huge difference here as well especially because of traffic , they are finishing alot of road construction.

Bob, very interesting post you chose by Nina Hollander .  I just read an article about day light savings and receiving a little more day light is about all you get. It turns out to be much more expensive to switch to DST. I believe there are only two states that have elected not to go the way of daylight savings. 

If the time never switched, I would be happier. Too much darkness is not good for anybody. Pretty soon people will be going to work in the dark and coming home in the dark. All I have to add is that on the bright side, at least I live in California and not where it snows.

I know that showing houses after 5 pm will be much more challanging.

Good morning Bob. The way Nina Hollander looks at the numbers, that will be a lot more sale that will happen on November 1st. Great way to look at twice as many sales for that day.

Nick T Pappas ~ good morning, Nick. I've heard those statistics as well that daylight sayings time really doesn't save much of anything. Wish we'd just stop this nonsense!

Wish some of that equity gaining goodness would come to my market.
