This was a recent Fall Day on Route 9G near Tivoli NY. Route 9G is a major Route through Columbia and Dutchess County. In the Hudson Valley there are many routes starting with 9, followed by a letter, 9D, 9A, 9H etc.
So back to my story about a Fall day. Route 9G is very scenic; there is a wide variety of trees producing a wide range of Fall colors, and the Catskills Mountain forms a beautiful backdrop.
You could even stop in at Olana which is off Route 9G. From that vantage point you would enjoy views of the valley and the majestic Hudson River. These scenes continue to inspire many artists.
