Please Help Us Save Webb Lake
When I was a child, my dad used to take us to a lake to "feed the ducks". It's been a memory I've kept with me for a long time, so much so, that I bring my grand-daughter to "Webb Lake" to do the same. I guess for us, it's a tradition. Webb Lake is located in Rancho Bernardo, here in sunny San Diego and as a community we all enjoy the wildlife that gathers there.
It might not seem like a priority for many to have a place to go, where you can walk around a lake, but it's home to more than just ducks. It also has turtles and koi and seems to bring some balance to the surrrounding area. It's the only serene setting left nearby for many to enjoy. There is tradition here and also a memorial, and basically the heart of our community. It has the ability to bring us together as a community just by existing.
So, here I am asking you to help our community to save this little Webb lake and I don't often ask anyone for anything, but this place is important to me...
