Realtor recommendation letter from Gainesville, FL seller

By
Real Estate Agent with Classic Properties

I received a recommendation letter from one of my listing customers for a home I sold in Gainesville, FL several months ago in the Capri subdivision in NW Gainesville.

When selecting a Realtor, ask them if they have any recommendations in writing from previous customers.  This will give you an indication of character to supplement what the Realtor is telling you they can do for you to market your property.  How available will your Realtor be to communicate with you once they have taken your listing?  References may also be requested of Realtors when working with a buyer.

Note: The letter below contains my maiden name.  I have redacted the seller's names for privacy but do have a copy of their signed letter for face-to-face listing presentations.

I am writing to comment on the level of service my sister and I received from Angela Elliott. We have been involved with a number of realtors over the years in various real estate transactions, but Angela is the only one that we can speak of in superlative tones regarding her professionalism, client support and overall attention to detail.

By way of background, my sister and I had a residential property that we needed to rent and manage from a considerable distance and needed someone that could represent our interests locally. Angela was indispensable in helping us through the rental process in terms of identifying potential renters and ensuring that the process progressed smoothly. She managed the property in a professional manner and kept us informed every step of the way. She went to great lengths to ensure that we were aware of all relevant considerations before we made a decision or took a particular step. Her level of service was simply outstanding insofar as she did the little things that realtors just don’t do. Her willingness to help and commitment to support us from a distance was without parallel.

After renting for a while, we decided to sell the property. Without question, we went straight to Angela to ask her to list the property. Here, she far exceeded our expectations in assisting us with making improvements to the property in anticipation of sale and helping us effectuate the changes. Fortunately, she was integrally involved with the changes we made and went to great lengths to do whatever she could do to move the property toward being sales-ready. We trusted her ability implicitly and are thankful she was as diligent and reliable as she was.

As circumstances would have it, the house was on the market for a while. Angela was in constant contact as to the potential buyer activity, soliciting feedback and providing answers to whatever questions we had both orally and, more importantly, in writing. She was a reassuring presence and great resource for information, especially as we began negotiations in the final stages. If she did not know the answer to a question, she checked with someone who did and got back to us very promptly. It gave us a huge amount of comfort that we could rely on her in all aspects of the sale.

On balance, we highly recommend that you use Angela as your realtor. She is a woman of integrity, who has actively demonstrated strong communication skills, diligence and attention to detail. We seldom would single out anyone to recommend, but our interaction with Angela over several years only served to reinforce our belief that we couldn’t have been in better hands professionally whether we were renting the property or selling it. She personifies the highest standard of commitment to client service.
