You've been thinking about building a new home. You've stopped by some model homes, picked up brocuhures, flipped through floor plans, and priced-in options.
In this brief post you will find out about one of the hidden gems in the new home market, and you will find out how you can protect your interests with a Buyer Agent helping you get your dream home.
Have you been to the best kept secret in Northern Virginia, Potomac Shores?
Potomac Shores is a hidden gem that is about to burst upon the market. So far, about 100 of 3,800 homes have been built. The Shores Club is under construction. The Jack Niclaus designed golf course has been in operation for two years.
Soon there will be a Town Center, a VRE station, a 5-Star convention hotel, and the largest marina on the Potomac River.
My team has helped a few families buy homes at Potomac Shores as their Buyer Agents. I was there today for a Realtor event, so I snapped a few photos of the model homes. Here are photos below of the model home where the Ryan sales office is located.
There is a charming front porch that welcomes you home. The home office is just off the foyer with plenty of natural light pouring in through tall windows.
The model demonstrates how the home can be built with five bedrooms, three and one-half baths.
The dining room is opposite the home office at the front of the house. The dining room easily accommodates a table for eight, with room for more. As you move further into the home you enter the open concept family room, kitchen, and breakfast room area. The family room features a gas fireplace and lots of windows that allow light to cascade into the room.
Take note of the wood floors and granite counters in the kitchen. There is space for four bar stools at the island, plus room for a table for 8 in the breakfast room. Notice how the windows are so large, and transom windows above the french doors bring extra light into the space.
Floor to ceiling cabinets in the kitchen gives you plenty of storage, plus the large island gives you even more storage. The kitchen, family room and breakfast room all join together as one large gathering space.
The spacious master suite is tranquil and private. A wall of windows draws light into the space. The bath gives you plenty of counter space and storage space, plus a large shower. You get a wide array of tile and stone from which to choose for your bathroom.
The spacious laundry room is conveniently located on the upper level, where all the dirty clothes come from. Notice the cabinets for storage that will keep your laundry room extra tidy. The home has four bedrooms. The blue bedroom above looks out over the front porch.
The home gives you a huge finished basement that adds over 1,000 more square feet of living space to the home.
Perhaps you will select the optional wet bar with a dishwasher and a wine cooler. Go all in! Treat your guests well. Turn a finished room into a movie room with plush furniture and a projection TV.

When you work with me as your Buyer Agent, you are working with an industry insider who has knowledge that can help you strike the best deal possible.
After a few years selling new homes I transitioned into residential real estate, and since then I have represented over 200 nice folks like you buy new homes over the past 25 years. My job is to help you get the best value, the best location, and the best investment, while helping you get your customized dream home.

One of the things that helps me get the best value for my clients is having contacts in high places in most of the popular home builders in the area. I'm not negotiating with the on-site sales rep. I'm dealing with the true decision makers.
It's important for you to see me BEFORE you visit model homes, because if you see the models and register before seeing me, you will not be allowed to have Buyer Agent representation. So call now to arrange a visit with me at 703-677-1120 to plan your new home purchase.
