You say to yourself the only way to fix this is to replace the carpet! Let me tell you there is a pretty easy fix that brings back your carpet to life.
Have no fear, I have a brilliant tip to help.
- Hurry to the freezer and grab your ice cube tray.
- Place an ice cube in each dent. If you’ve got a long dent, use multiple cubes.
- Let the ice cube melt, and check how your carpet is looking the next day.
- If your carpet hasn’t quite recovered, grab a clean toothbrush or fork to fluff up the fibers.
Now you can only use this method on carpets that can take water. Please do not try this on expensive rugs that do not take water cleaning.
