Veterans Day: A Week Long Salute to all Veterans takes place in Branson, Missouri
Veterans Day is a week long salute to all veterans in Branson Missouri.
Actually Veterans are celebrated every day in Branson, but this week is extra special.
On November 5th, opening ceremonies began at College of the Ozarks Missouri.
Today,Monday November 9th, grammy award winning country music artist Billy Dean, will host our Veterans at the Starlite Theater in Branson.
Billy Dean has joined the Branson community and embraces the values of "faith, family and flag" that we all love. So tonight, Billy Dean and local law enforcement are combining to host a dinner for Veterans and a meet and greet at the Starlite Theater.
It is such a thrill for a relatively newcomer to Branson, such as Billy Dean, to step forward and join in the Branson celebration. He is an extraordinary singer/songwriter and performs at the Starlite Theater with his very talented band. Jarett Dougherty, one of the funniest comedians, has joined with Billy Dean to create outstanding family friendly entertainment that Branson visitors come to expect.
Every show I have attended in Branson (and I have been to a lot of them) recognize Veterans and perform a segment on the branches of service to salute them. It's just a normal day in Branson to do that. Active Veterans receive discounts in Branson every day.
This week is special. One of the largest Veterans Day parades in the United States will roll through the Branson Historic District on Veterans Day.
It is just the beginning of a very special week in Branson Missouri, where every day is Veterans Day.
