October 2015 Canton MA Home Sales Update
According to the MLS Property Information Network, a total of 18 Canton MA homes were sold in October 2015. This was 20% higher than last year. It was also 12.5% higher than September 2015 home sales.
The October 2015 Canton MA Home Sales Update also revealed that the average sale price last month was $513,489. This was 1.7% higher than the previous month and 7% higher than last year. A 2 bed/1 bath, 1160 square foot Cape-style home sold for $264,900. The new owner paid $20,000 under the list price. A recently renovated, 4 bed/2 bath, 2399 square foot Contemporary home sold for $870,000 in less than 30 days. They paid $79,000 under list price, too! In fact, of the 18 homes sold last month, 16 of them were purchased at list price or below.
