My wife and I can testify to the struggles of eating healthy when you are juggling work (we both have full time jobs), kids and their host of activities (even at the young age of our 2 children), our training regiments (Erika is running the 3M Half in January and I just completed the Chicago Marathon) and trying to keep our house is some sort of order. I'd say we do a descent job of planning out healthy meals for the week. We do punt and visit one of our staples, Galaxy Cafe, on occassion (locally owned with all natural options). Of course there is always The Little Deli, which is frequent Friday night option because what's easier than pizza under the giant oak tree in the Crestview Shopping Center?
I'm excited to hear last month's announcement about Baby Greens reopening on Anderson Ln, the dividing street of Crestview Neighborhood and Wooten neighborhood. They will offer salads, wraps and other veggie-based meals, and patrons can opt for 1 of 2 drive thru lanes and a walk up window. Drivey thru healthy options over fries and a burger!
