When my ex-husband and I would have dinner out and the food was not up to par, or the service was inadequate, or he found something else wrong with the event (as he usually did), he would huff and puff and exclaim to me that he would never go back to that restaurant again.
Michael, I said, if there was a problem with the restaurant and you are not sharing it with the owner or manager, how will they ever know there is something that needs fixing?
Not everyone is aware of mistakes that are being made around them or that they may be making themselves.
No matter who you are or, no matter what work you do, if you do not bring the situation to somebody's attention, they will not have the opportunity to rectify it.
Consumers, if there something about the way your Realtor is conducting business that is not acceptable to you, please tell him/her so an opportunity is presented to change.
My son once taught me that if I treat a topic without anger, almost kiddingly light, I can get any message I want across and not offend anyone.
Realtors, if your clients are conducting themselves in a way that will work against their efforts to sell, let them know. You are the professional; that's why you were hired.
Don't take yourselves too seriously. As I love to say, if you aren't having fun, you're not doing it right!
