While visiting a friend in Beckley this weeked, we decided to visit United Way of Southern West Virginia (UWSWV) . Wonderland of Trees at Crossroads Mall in Beckley, WV. Stop by and see all the beautiful, decorated Christmas trees, and vote for your favorite Christmas tree. Voting started Friday, November 6 and goes until Friday November 20, $1 per vote goes to UWSWV.

My favorite was #4, Dancing for a Cure, presented by Carl Larson Cancer Center. This was so creative, check out the photos...

Wonderland of trees The photo to the right is the tree my friend liked. There were over 50 beautifully decorated Christmas trees. If you are in Beckley, stop in at the Crossroads Mall and vote for your favorite tree.

This is a very unique event. I might have to see if our Habitat Board or the local animal shelter wants to do anything with this idea. The work that went into the trees you showed is amazing. I think an event like this would attract a lot of attention.
