 The Town of Parker is Southeast of Denver approximately 30 miles with a population just over 47,000 (2012).    The City of  Parker is a quaint town that is commonly called a bedroom community.    It has the small town feel, yet has lots to offer.   You will find many locally owned businesses and restaurants.    

Buyers looking for Homes for Sale in Parker will find sales in October 2015 saw another slight decrease in  sales from September.    Last year looking at detached family home sales only, there were 164 sold in October 2014, which shows sales are up a bit from one year ago.  Listing inventory decreased significantly over the month of September.   Let's look at the sale data from the month of October 2015 for sales of detached single family homes that were recorded for the Town of Parker -

Looking at the Fall buying season, we are seeing a slowdown with less buyers in the market and decreasing inventory.     What buyers need to know - you still may see multiple offers, but not 15-20 offers now.    Although active listings in the price range of $400,000 and less, there are currently 48 listings with 64 days on market.   There are currently 2 short sales and no bank owned properties for sale.

 As of today you will find 335 active homes for sale in Parker (ranging from $250,000 to $18,370,000).    There are 263 currently under contract (ranging from $225,000 to $1999,990).
