Important Monterey Hills Federation Follow Up Meeting To Discuss
Parcel S
Thursday, November 12, 2015
On Thursday, November 12, 2015 at 7PM in the meeting room of the Linden Heights condominium complex, there will be a Monterey Hills Federation Meeting. This is important for interested residents as it is the first follow-up meeting since the initial meeting in August. The For Sale sign was installed at Parcel “S” in the community in July.
Parcel S has never been developed in the planned hilltop community of Monterey Hills within the city of Los Angeles. It had been owned by the CRA/LA - Community Redevelopment Agency of Los Angeles until the state of California dissolved the organization a few years ago. Since the open space project was only in the planning stage, the project was cancelled.
Environmental and Land Use Attorney Deborah M Rosenthal will be speaking. The Federation has been informed that a bid has been placed for the property. Learn more about options and have the opportunity to ask questions at the Federation Meeting on Thursday, November 12, 2015 at the Linden Heights meeting room(4200 Via Arbolada). Representatives of the Arroyo Seco Neighborhood Council Land Use Committee as well as a representative from Councilmember Jose Huizar’s office are scheduled to be present.
The Monterey Hills Federation was formed by an alliance of the various condominium and townhome complexes in Monterey Hills to collaborate and work for the residents of the community. The Federation has organized many events in the area known by residents as “The Hill” such as the Monterey Hills Jazz Festival, Movie Nights at Budd Weiner Park, Health Fairs and more
